Our client, a global healthcare leader is keen to hire a
Process Technician
to join their team in Cavan on an initial 6month contract.
Shift Pattern
:Mixed 6 Week shift cycle pattern – This role will include days, nights and weekends.
Responsibilities of a Process Technician (Full job description available on request):
Conduct analytical testing across a range of techniques (including but not limited to HPLC and ICP to support raw material analysis, in-process testing and finished product testing.
Develop, evaluate and verify analytical test methods across a range of techniques (including HPLC and ICP) as required.
Contribute to and/or lead troubleshooting and investigation of analytical issues using quality tools and site CAPA process.
Provide analytical support in the technical transfer of analytical methods into the Analytical Laboratory.
Support and/or co-ordinate equipment installation and validation activities as required by project demands.
Contribute to the Analytical Laboratory continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideal background:
A BSc in analytical chemistry or equivalent scientific discipline (with significant analytical focus) combined with 2 years' experience within an analytical role; or BSc in a degree with significant analytical focus plus 2+ years' experience within an analytical role.
Practical experience in a range of analytical techniques including but not limited to HPLC and ICP.
Extensive knowledge and experience of analytical principles and procedures, method development, method validation and method transfers.
Strong understanding of compliance and quality standards.
Proven ability to plan and work independently.
Candidate most be able to work under a high-pressured production environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interacts constructively with employees, managers and cross-functional peers.
