Overview We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Principal / Lead Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin.

The role will focus on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Data Centre Sectors.
With high levels of commitment, your responsibilities will include leading various stages of projects whilst gaining the opportunity to further develop technical and managerial skills along with excellent opportunities for career advancement.
A key part of your role will be to support and mentor your team-members.
Responsibilities Experience across a broad range of structural engineering projects; experience in industrial buildings (Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Food or Energy projects) would be an advantage Experience with managing a team of Engineers, Designers, and Technicians to develop structural packages for tender and construction Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, work hours, etc.
Progress reporting and resource hours control for the Structural Scope.
Experience in dealing with contractors and resolving problems in a timely manner A strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection, and business Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal/people skills with the ability to manage design personnel A proven track record working closely in partnership with clients and contractors, and other members of design teams A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios Thorough knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design of building structures Ability to deliver structural design scope to tight deadlines.
Excellent knowledge of design using Eurocodes for structural steel and concrete.
Experience using structural software such as Robot and Tekla Qualifications A Degree or Masters in Structural Engineering and ideally Chartered with the Institute of Structural Engineers.
Minimum 15 years post graduate experience working for Engineering Consultancies Why PM Group?
