Our client is seeking an Energy Compliance Executive to support the delivery, audit and quality assurance of renewable energy and home energy upgrade programmes across Ireland. This role will suit candidates with experience in compliance, inspections, auditing, construction, building services, engineering, data analysis or energy programmes. Working as part of a high-performing team, you will help ensure grant-funded energy upgrades meet required standards, support risk management activities and contribute to Ireland's climate action and energy efficiency targets. Location: Dublin, Dundalk, Cork or Sligo (Hybrid) Salary: €53,071 (public sector) Contract: 14-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Leave Cover) The Opportunity Support compliance and quality assurance activities across energy upgrade and renewable energy programmes including Solar PV and residential retrofit schemes. Apply risk-based assessment methodologies to identify properties for audit and inspection. Coordinate inspection and audit activities with external service providers. Monitor contractor performance against agreed service levels and key performance indicators. Track inspection outcomes and ensure corrective actions are completed. Analyse data and produce reports, dashboards and compliance metrics using Power BI and related reporting tools. Support continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation and digital transformation projects. Assist with forecasting inspection volumes, capacity planning and operational reporting. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support programme delivery and governance objectives. Occasionally attend site inspections and compliance reviews throughout Ireland. About You Degree in Engineering, Construction, Building Services, Data Analytics, Science, Technology or a related discipline. Experience in compliance, auditing, inspections, quality assurance, risk management or programme administration. Strong data analysis skills with advanced Excel capability. Experience using Power BI, Tableau, Power Query or similar reporting tools. Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Desirable Experience Renewable energy, retrofit or energy efficiency programmes. Construction, building technologies or engineering environments. Quality control, compliance or regulatory functions. Contractor or supplier management. Business process improvement and operational excellence. Knowledge of Irish building regulations or health and safety requirements.
