Basic Role Summary:
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced Warehouse Operation within Chanelle Pharma. The Stock Controller / Operative will play a key role in supporting and driving the company's vision to be the most valued Irish provider of high-quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical / veterinary products while delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
You will be a key member of the Warehouse Team, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely processing of stock movements, and maintaining high operational standards in accordance with documented SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.
Location: Onsite at our facility in Loughrea.
As our Stock Controller / Operative, your key responsibilities will be as follows:
* Conduct cycle counts as scheduled and support follow-up on count discrepancies.
* Perform stock-on-shelf verification to ensure accuracy between physical and system inventory.
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
* Lead and assist with annual stock takes, ensuring inventory accuracy of 99.50% or higher.
* Perform weekly stock take on Controlled Drugs items.
* Process customer/store returns daily and ensure timely completion.
* Assist the Goods Inwards team as required, including stock put-away and verification.
* Pick, check, and pack customer orders accurately to prevent transit damage.
* Ensure orders received same day are processed and dispatched on time.
* Ensure trucks are loaded correctly, safely, and in a presentable manner.
* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
* Support cross-departmental communication and liaise with internal teams to resolve queries.
* Assist in daily Sales Office/Customer query resolutions.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Responsibilities may change in line with business needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 5 years' warehouse experience, preferably within a regulated environment.
* Strong computer literacy (Excel and Word essential).
* Experience in Inventory Management / Stock Control.
* Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
