Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland - Company: Bitrecruit - Client / Employer: OccupopWhat you’ll doPerform electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and repairs on high‑speed bottling equipment and supporting infrastructure.Follow relevant SOPs, equipment validation and controls for the operation and safe running of lines and plant machinery.Conduct routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance on control panels, sensors and other electrical components.Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements.Ensure all electrical work complies with health and safety standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and equipment status.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or electrical systems as required.Assist in new installations of production equipment, working & training.Co‑operate and participate fully in training and development in cross‑skilling, up‑skilling and other job‑related competencies.Maintain the plant and its equipment in an audit‑ready state at all times.Perform other duties as directed by your manager.What you’ll haveFully qualified Electrician (proof of certification required).Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting; FMCG or beverage industry experience is a strong advantage.Experience with high‑speed, automated bottling or packaging lines highly desirable but not essential.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.Shift pattern: Monday to Friday on a two‑cycle shift – 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm with a 25% shift allowance.BenefitsCompetitive Salary.Pension.Health Insurance.Quarterly Bonus.Educational Support Programme.Employee Assistance Programme.Generous Refer a Friend Bonus.Monthly Take Away.Fruit Deliveries.On‑site Parking.On‑site Kitchen Facilities.Bike to Work.Wellness Events.Social Events throughout the year.Two cycle shift pattern and shift allowance.
