Cork (with travel across Ireland & UK)Employment:Full-time, PermanentSector:Agriculture / Events / MarketingO'Donovan Engineering, a leading manufacturer of innovative livestock handling equipment, is seeking a highly organised and motivatedMarketing & Event Coordinatorto support our growing presence across Ireland and the UK.With a schedule of20+ agricultural shows, trade events, and exhibitions each year, this is a hands-on role ideal for someone who loves agriculture, enjoys travel, and excels at bringing events and brand marketing to life.Event Planning & DeliveryCoordinate, plan, and deliver all company events, trade shows, and agricultural exhibitions.Manage logistics, travel schedules, stand layouts, equipment transport, and onsite setup/breakdown.Complete event paperwork, H&S requirements, and risk assessments.Represent the company professionally to farmers, dealers, and industry partners.Capture event activity for marketing use and complete post-event reports.Stand Building & Onsite OperationsPrepare product displays, promotional materials, and layouts.Work with dispatch to ensure equipment arrives on time and is professionally presented.Take a hands-on role in building, assembling, and maintaining event stands.Marketing & Content CreationSupport social media activity with photos, videos, and event-led content.Assist with campaigns, product promotions, and brand storytelling.Contribute customer insights and feedback to help shape marketing strategy.Help maintain marketing documentation, product info, and promotional assets.EssentialStrong organisation and project management skills.Background or strong interest in agriculture (dairy, beef, or sheep).Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and visual.Ability to work hands-on with equipment and stand setups.Confident using IT tools (Microsoft Office, especially Excel).Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel frequently, including overnight.Self-motivated, professional, and comfortable working independently.DesirableExperience in events, marketing, or social media content creation.Photography or videography skills.Experience at agri events or similar technical product environments.Why this role?Join a respected, long-established agri-engineering company with deep roots in rural Ireland.Varied, high-impact role combining events, travel, marketing, and customer engagement.Work closely with a supportive Sales & Marketing Manager and a strong internal team.Contribute to a brand known for quality, innovation, and leadership in livestock solutions.Send your CV and cover letter toLearn more at
