Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
* Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions to ensure accurate financial records and smooth financial operations.
* Process customer invoices on a daily basis and maintain accurate debtor and creditor records.
* Ensure prompt payment receipts through effective credit control measures.
* Liaise with customers and vendors, resolving any invoice-related issues promptly.
* Process all cash receipts, customer payments, and bank lodgements in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate vendor invoices and generate payment runs through online banking.
* Perform monthly bank account reconciliation and credit card reconciliation.
* Prepare bi-monthly VAT returns and process Vies/Intrastat as required.
* Maintain accurate multicurrency exchange rates and filing systems.
* Liaise with auditors and prepare files for audit purposes.
* Attend seminars and classes as required to enhance professional skills.
* Perform other duties as requested by Management.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Qualifications
* AAT Accredited qualification is essential.
* Other accountancy qualifications or strong experience are highly desirable.
Key Requirements
* A minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
* You must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Have good flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
* Maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
* Exhibit excellent organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.
* Display strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
