Job title: Faade Site Manager x 2 Location: Dublin Contract: Full-time, permanent Package: Competitive salary (DOE) + vehicle/allowance + expenses & benefits The Role We are seeking experienced Facade Site Manager(s) to join a leading contractor to work on a large scale residential site, one in North Dublin and one in South Dublin.
This role is critical for overseeing the installation of complex facade systems, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, and glazing, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards of safety and weather-tightness.
Key Responsibilities Installation Oversight: Manage the day-to-day on-site installation of facade systems, ensuring all work aligns with approved design drawings and technical specifications.
Sub-contractor Management: Lead and coordinate specialist facade sub-contractors, ensuring clear communication of project milestones and quality expectations.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections of brackets, fixings, seals, and panels.
Manage the RFI and non-conformance process to ensure 100% compliance with BCAR.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical interface issues between the facade and the primary structure in collaboration with the design team.
Health & Safety: Act as the primary safety lead for facade works, managing high-risk activities including the use of mast climbers, cradles, and crane lifting operations.
Programme Tracking: Monitor site progress against the master schedule, providing regular updates to the Project Manager and implementing recovery plans if necessary.
About You Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a site management role specifically focused on facades, cladding, or curtain walling systems.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of building envelope performance, including air-tightness, thermal bridging, and fire-stopping requirements.
Certifications: Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and CSCS/Managing Safely in Construction.
Leading certificates in specialist access (IPAF/Slinger Signaller) are a distinct advantage.
Attributes: A detail-oriented leader with the ability to manage complex logistics and high-pressure deadlines.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, architects, and site operatives.
