Procurement Specialist

The Sales Support Specialist role is responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, ensuring quality and efficiency in purchasing goods and services.


Main Responsibilities:

1. Purchase Lifecycle Management: Full responsibility for the procurement process from request through to delivery.
2. Purchasing: Acquiring goods or services that meet organisational needs.
3. Contract Negotiation: Evaluating and negotiating contracts with vendors.
4. Inventory Management: Tracking inventory levels and restocking goods as needed.
5. Quote Follow-up: Tracking and following up on open quotes.
6. Industry Knowledge: Staying up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
7. Document Preparation: Creating purchase orders and other documents required for vendor transactions.
8. Tender Responses: Preparing tender responses as needed.
9. Order Review: Reviewing purchase orders to ensure completeness and accuracy.
10. Procedure Documentation: Documenting internal procedures and keeping them up-to-date.
11. Client Contract Review: Assisting with reviewing and renewing client contracts.
12. Customer Engagement: Creating and maintaining customer product and service matrices to identify upsell opportunities.
13. Customer Support: Answering phone calls in a professional manner and providing support to sales and customers.
14. Proposal Development: Preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations as needed for client engagements.
15. Sales Meetings: Scheduling sales meetings, demos, and client follow-ups.
16. New Client Onboarding: Helping onboard new clients and contracts.
17. Customer Inquiry Response: Responding promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, or chat.
