Responsibilities
* Set up, maintain, and repair gaming machines, PCs, and AV equipment.
* Troubleshoot software glitches and hardware faults (power supplies, wiring, PCBs, etc.).
* Carry out component-level repairs, including soldering.
* Provide clear, friendly support to non-technical teammates.
* Keep systems up and running across multiple sites.
* Travel to Cork casino a couple of days each week for on-site support.
* Log your work and keep track of repairs, parts, and incidents.
* Manage spare parts stock and stay organized.
* Work safely and carefully around electrical systems.
What You\'ll Bring / Qualifications
* Experience in a hands-on tech role (PC/laptop repair, field service, electronics, etc.).
* Great problem-solving skills for both hardware and software.
* Confident with soldering and PCB-level repairs.
* Comfortable working with mains voltage (230V).
* Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems.
* Full driving license and your own transport.
* A self-starter attitude and a genuine love for tech.
Bonus Points For
* Linux know-how (Debian, Ubuntu).
* Networking basics (IPs, subnets, VLANs).
* Experience with Raspberry Pi or Arduino.
* Familiarity with AV gear like amplifiers and projectors.
* Some coding or database knowledge.
