The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and be part of a dynamic team.Key Responsibilities will include:Processing export and domestic shipping documentation on a daily basisManaging internal and external cold store movementsLiaising with account managers and haulage agents on logistical mattersSetting high standards of customer service over the phone and across the counterGeneral administration duties.The Candidate:The successful candidate will ideally have at least one years' experience in a busy administration role and having either despatch or shipping experience would be an advantage;This role would suit someone with the following criteria;Ideally coming from a manufacturing, FMCG or logistics backgroundStrong communication skills as you will be liaising with a broad range of internal departments and service providers (finance, despatch, hauliers, cold stores, sales etc.)Have a flexible approach, an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a dynamic admin/finance teamAbility to work flexible hours Monday to Friday as start and finishing times will be staggered depending workloadExcellent attention to detail, be efficient, highly organised and ability to meet deadlinesWillingness to develop new skills and learn new roles if opportunities ariseKnowledge of Navision would be an advantage but not essential.French and/or German would be an advantage but not essential.Salary:The remuneration package on offer will reflect the importance of the role and the experience of the successful candidate.Working in Irish Country Meats:We are committed to continually learning in order to create a high performing work environment where we improve on what we do and how we do it.
