Overview
Role: IT Systems & Applications Support Specialist
Company: ACCPRO (financial sector client)
Location: Dublin 12 – 4 days onsite
Salary: 50-55k
Note: Must hold a valid work visa for Ireland to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide application support for core business systems, including issue investigation, vendor liaison, data uploads, database restores, user access, and role administration.
* Lead and facilitate ticket review meetings, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
* Manage change processes, including communication, documentation, and business sign-off.
* Monitor systems, interfaces, and batch processes to maintain uptime and smooth operations.
* Work closely with vendors, tracking SLA performance, escalating issues, and ensuring delivery quality.
* Support security, compliance, and audit requirements, providing evidence and implementing improvements.
* Maintain IT documentation, ensuring processes are accurate, up to date, and professionally presented.
* Assist with IT and business projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
* Provide basic networking and system monitoring support as required.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an IT support, systems administration, or application support role.
* Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Good knowledge of SQL and Office 365 administration.
* Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* AWS or other cloud platform knowledge.
* Basic networking and system monitoring experience.
Qualifications
* Third-level qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years in a similar role.
