Job Description:
The role involves delivering a successful project that aligns with the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Community Development Officer will work closely with project stakeholders, including the Project Manager, Conservation Officer and local teams to achieve this goal.
The officer will report to the Project Manager and ensure diversity and inclusion are at the heart of community engagement at Mourne Park. They will identify opportunities for improvement in activities across projects as a whole.
1. To develop and deliver volunteer programs engaging communities in practical biodiversity conservation efforts;
2. To design an extensive training program for volunteers on heritage conservation skills;
3. To develop community outreach initiatives promoting environmental awareness within woodland areas;
