As the Chief Estimator, you will manage the estimating process for all project bids, establish standardized procedures and methods for the estimating department, and assist in estimating conceptual alternative procurements such as Design-Build and Energy Projects.
You will also oversee the analysis of past performance on projects, establish estimating standards for all future estimates, and supervise the historical cost database, bid management, and estimating software.

What We Ask of You:
Assign responsibilities for the Estimating Team on each project
Evaluate requests for estimates with the Executive Team, prepare weekly bid calendar, and reviews
Conduct weekly estimating meetings to ensure timely completion of estimates
Review project plans and specifications and coordinate with the team to confirm the complete scope
Assist with identifying risk issues and their level of importance
Manage the soliciting of subcontractor and/or supplier information and pricing for each project
Oversee the instructions to bidders, bid form, and other bid solicitation information as required for each project
Coordinate technical proposal requirements with the Marketing Department and manage insurance requirements
