We are currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead major Capital (CAPEX) Automation Projects with one of our key Med Tech clients.
Role Overview The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale automation and capital investment programs within a regulated Med Tech manufacturing environment.
This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical expertise in industrial automation and equipment integration.
Key Responsibilities Lead complex CAPEX automation programs from concept through to commissioning and handover Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, validation, quality, operations, and third-party vendors Oversee project budgets, timelines, risk management, and governance reporting Drive equipment specification, procurement, FAT/SAT, installation, and validation activities Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and corporate standards Coordinate closely with site leadership and global stakeholders Proactively identify and mitigate technical and operational risks Required Experience 10+ years experience in project/program management within Med Tech or Life Sciences manufacturing Proven track record delivering large CAPEX automation projects Strong experience managing third-party automation vendors and system integrators Experience with GMP-regulated environments Strong understanding of validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and commissioning processes Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification desirable Desirable Experience Experience with robotics, vision systems, MES integration, or digital manufacturing initiatives Exposure to greenfield or brownfield expansion projects Budget responsibility for multi-million-euro programs Skills: CAPEX GMP IQ/OQ/PQ PMP Benefits: Health insurance
