Director of Estates
This is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic planning and development of estates associated with Approved Housing Bodies.
The successful candidate will be accountable for overseeing all aspects of properties maintenance, transport, and compliance with health and safety regulations to the highest standards.

* Fire Safety
* Energy Performance
* Transport
Direct reports will include:
* Chief Assistant Technical Services Officer
* Head of Technical Services
* Projects Manager
* Fire Officer
* Housing Manager x 2
Total staff in the Estates Directorate – 53.
Essential Qualifications
* Degree and/or relevant professional qualifications or membership in property, design, build environment, construction, engineering, surveying or technical disciplines.
Desirable Qualifications
* Post graduate qualification in a business discipline.
Essential Experience
* Significant experience at a senior level in leading operational teams and property projects & programmes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Detailed understanding of technical issues related to estates and facilities management.
* Experience in developing strategies for overcoming issues.
* Substantial track record of accomplishment at Senior Management level for a period not less than three years.
* Successful track record of delivering large scale projects.
* Proficiency in MS packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook.
Desirable Experience
* Experience in a comparable role within the Health Services setting or similar.
