Job Title: Field Service Specialist
About the Role:
As a Field Service Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing expert technical support and ensuring seamless equipment operation.
You will work closely with our internal teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to diagnose complex issues, and have experience working in fast-paced environments.
Additionally, they should be comfortable traveling on-site for extended periods and adapting to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site-based installations, configurations, maintenance, and upgrades of advanced equipment systems.• Utilize digital analytics tools for troubleshooting purposes• Apply diagnostic techniques to assess equipment functionality• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical,
pneumatic, hydraulic systems (training provided)• Collaborate directly with customers• Fulfill additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Possess an Associate Degree or higher in a relevant field At least years of work experience in customer/field service support or a related technical field Ability to read interpret electrical mechanical schematics Experience diagnosing resolving basic technical challenges Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint Effective written verbal communication skills Basic mechanical aptitude pneumatics hydraulics electronics vacuum thermodynamics Familiarity hand tools usage including digital multimeters Physical Requirements This position often requires extensive walking standing working tight spaces bending squatting twisting kneeling reaching climbing stairs ladders working height lifting lbs ability distinguish between colors working electricity use Personal Protective Equipment coveralls hoods booties safety glasses gloves respirators chemical aprons face shields
