This role will be site based and ensure the safety and quality of its products and processes.
Tool and Gauge specialises in world-class injection mould manufacture, precision engineering, and innovative product design.
This will be a site-based position, and you will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes at T&G.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce quality standards and metrics.Conduct tests, identify malfunctions, and recommend solutions.Inspect materials, review blueprints, and prepare reports on quality improvements.Complete quality documentation and develop/update SOPs in line with industry standardsDesign and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing andInspectionMaintain and audit the Quality Management System (QMS).Inspecting and testing of various moulded components, processes, and comparing products against clients original specificationsManaging and resolving any Corrective Actions and Non-ConformancesDealing with any supplier quality issuesCollaborate with teams to improve product quality and ensure compliance.Participate and prepare for all in internal and external auditsRequirements:
Relevant third level qualification (NQF level 8) or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering- having a Quality Certification is a distinct advantage5 years' experience in similar role.Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry (QMS, SPC, Gauge R&R, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PFMEA, CAPA)Hands-on with QMS, testing, and statistical analysis.Attention to detail with reporting .Experience working in a contract manufacturing environment with various industry would be a distinct advantage.Why Join Us?
