Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, part of Talbot Collection, are recruiting for an organised and passionate Reservation agent to join our team.

Overall Job Purpose: To take calls, process, and manage reservations for Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, ensuring that each enquiry and reservation is dealt with in a pleasant, efficient, timely and competent manner.
To be sales focused and motivated by converting enquiries to bookings.
To work closely with the Revenue Manager and to assist the Revenue Manager in any ad hoc tasks or projects.
To demonstrate excellent attention to detail ensuring that all reservations are input accurately, rated accurately and contain as much detail as possible to enhance the guests experience and assist operational managers.
To deliver exceptional friendly service at all times, to every guest, in line with the Talbot Collection 'Empower Your Excellence' customer service program.
To be respectful, polite, friendly, and unfailingly helpful in all your dealings with guests and colleagues alike, recognising that you are an 'ambassador' of the Talbot Collection at all times.
Main Duties: Manage guest reservations, for the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan, ensuring that their needs and wants are met and in keeping with the company standards.
Give details, and be familiar with, Talbot Hotel Stillorgan facilities and pricing information Up-sell products, facilities and packages that the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan can offer.
Be familiar with Brass Bar entertainment and special events.
To confirm in writing to clients the details of their reservations with hotel terms and conditions.
To guarantee all reservations to a credit card number of a company account with a completed credit application form.
Answer telephone calls within 3 rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.
Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone and email.
Requirements: Ideally 1+ years' experience in a similar role Proficient in Front Office Systems, preferable Hotsoft and MS Office, including email Excellent command of the English language.
