We are seeking a skilled Timber Frame Design Engineer/Archetectural Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainable building and capable of delivering accurate, efficient timber frame solutions from concept through to completionEssential CriteriaThe ability to design and detail timber frame structures using CAD software.Produce accurate technical drawings and manufacturing details.Collaborate with Architects, Engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with building regulations and the clients needs.Provide technical support during manufacturing and site installation phases.Has a 'can do' attitude.Desired CriteriaProduce designs and detailing to timber frame structure using HSB software.Produce accurate manufacturing drawings, including closed wall panel drawings, metal web joist, steel detailing and roof trusses.Qualification & SkillsDegree in Architectural technology / Structural / Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent industry experience).Proficiency in AutoCAD.Strong knowledge of Irish Timber Frame engineering principles.Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction methods.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to multitask while working under pressure.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Career development opportunities.Supportive and collaborative team culture.Initially office based with the opportunity to become hybrid working after demonstrating suitable experience.Job Types: Full-time, ApprenticeshipExpected hours: No less than 38 per weekBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
