About the Role:
The Customer Service / Office Assistant will play a key part in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by efficiently handling various administrative and customer service-related tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Accurately processing sales orders, ensuring all details are correctly entered into the ERP system
* Monitoring and managing order statuses, updating customers as necessary
* Generating and issuing invoices in a timely manner and resolving any invoice-related queries
* Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
* Acting as a point of contact between customers and the production team
* Communicating customer requirements and feedback to the shop floor, ensuring alignment and timely delivery
* Importing and updating files on the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
* Preparing and formatting Excel files for production, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
* Collaborating with the production team to confirm details and requirements
* Monitoring and managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks
* Updating stock records in the ERP system and reporting discrepancies
* Processing purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and compliant with policies
* Liaising with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar customer service / office role
* Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
* Experience with ERP / CRM systems is highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve customer and operational issues
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
