Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Process Specialist

The Senior Manufacturing Process Specialist will be part of the Operations and Engineering team responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes and capabilities.
* Program all Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, including printers, pick and place machines, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.
* Develop oven profiles and program the oven.
* Set up Panelized Through Hole (PTH) manufacturing processes and equipment.
* Interface with customers to determine ideal test equipment and programming setups.
* Collaborate with customers on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to improve manufacturability and complete NPI projects on schedule.
* Incorporate Continuous Improvement activities based on business objectives and current cost reduction goals.
* Prepare assembly documentation and work instructions.
* Train production staff in assembly procedures.
* Support the Maintenance Team in designing planned maintenance routines necessary for all SMT equipment, and perform critical Engineering Maintenance tasks as required.
* Provide technical support to production teams.
* Implement process controls such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plans as part of the Change Management process.
* Participate in improvement projects and other reasonable tasks outlined by the supervisor/manager.
Requirements:
Qualifications
* A Level 8 degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Experience working with engineering bills of materials and drawings.
* Ability to undertake overtime or work on weekends according to business needs.
* Demonstrable working knowledge of SMT components and processes.
* Experience with build planning and stakeholder management.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment, preferably Medical Device.
