Brand and Project Lead - Dairyglen | Smooch

Location: Bray, Wicklow

Type: Full-time, on-site with flexible on-the-road days (potential for one day from home)

Salary: 35K

Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Brand & Project Lead to bring structure, creativity and energy to our marketing delivery across Ireland's favourite ice cream brand, Smooch and our parent company Dairyglen.

This is a project-based, execution-focused role for someone who loves making things happen - managing timelines, campaigns, and brand projects from idea to activation.

You'll work closely with our sales and compliance departments whilst collaborating with external agencies to ensure our website is regularly updated and on brand. You'll be the go to person for keeping brand activity on track, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint and driving projects that make both brands stand out in market.

Responsibilites

1. Campaign Management

* Develop and manage the annual marketing calendar across Dairyglen and Smooch, aligning key campaigns with product launches and seasonal demand.
* Plan and execute new flavour and product launches across national Smooch sites.
* Prepare campaign launch packs, promotional brochures, and sales presentations to support national rollouts.
* Collaborate with the Sales Team to deliver professional, on-brand decks and visuals for presentations to major customer accounts
* Evaluate campaign performance and share insights to improve future results.

2. Project Management

* Lead major brand projects and events across both brands, including:
* Trade shows and conferences – manage stand design, logistics, and event marketing.
* Product and packaging launches – oversee artwork approvals, timelines, and supplier coordination.
* Menu rollouts – manage updates for 180+ sites, including design, pricing, and printing.
* POS and in-store activations – brief designers, approve artwork, coordinate production, and distribution.
* Manage multiple timelines across suppliers, agencies, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

3. Digital, SEO & Agency Management

* Act as the main contact for our digital marketing agency, managing Paid Ad Creative and overseeing website updates / blog content, ensuring accuracy, visual appeal, and optimisation for search.

4. Brand & Creative Delivery

* Oversee creative development across packaging, menus, photography, video, signage, and digital assets.
* Maintain the brand library — including imagery, logos, templates, and guidelines.
* Proof and approve all creative assets to ensure they're on-brand, consistent, and visually engaging.
* Plan and direct product photoshoots and video content, managing shot lists, styling, and coordination.

5. Budget & Performance

* Negotiate supplier and print costs to achieve the best value.
* Support management with performance reports.

Skills & Experience

* 2+ years' experience in marketing, brand, or project management (FMCG, retail, or hospitality experience highly regarded).
* Strong background in campaign planning, project delivery, and supplier management.
* Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Skilled at working with agencies and external partners is ideal
* Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
* A natural problem-solver with strong commercial awareness and creative judgement.
