We are looking for a meticulous Design Manager to join our team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring that all projects are executed with precision and adhere to quality standards while remaining competitively priced.

The Design Manager will work closely with the QS, Design Teams, Project manager, suppliers and clients to deliver accurate and timely design solutions that facilitate informed decision-making.

Working with Consultants developing supporting information and management of deliverables to attain NSAI Agrément Certificate and ISO *****.
Acting a Design Certifier on Projects
Supporting the Estimating and Proposal Team on the technical aspect of Bids
Developing In-House draughting and BIM team
Management of the design development for modular projects
Appointment and ongoing management of design team
Agreement of information required schedule
Ensuring key dates achieved
Regular liaison with client, stakeholders, architect, consultants and factory and construction teams
Dealing with local authorities to achieve planning permissions
Review of construction design information for buildability, compliance with contractors proposals, employers requirements, budget, current building legislation, etc
Identifying opportunities for value engineering opportunities where appropriate
Proactive issue resolution
Overall managing the smooth and timely delivery of detailed design information for procurement and construction throughout the preconstruction and build process
Suitable candidates should have
Degree Qualified Architect
Member of the RIAI
Chartered (preferred)Timber Frame / Modular experience is essential
Communication and negotiations skills, strong planning and problem-solving ability, initiative and a positive approach.
You will ideally have a proven track record of successful project delivery in a Design Coordination / Manager role or be Senior / Associate level architect in practice looking to make the move across.
Experience in 2D AutoCAD and Revit.
Have excellent attention to detail, technical knowledge and practices along with excellent problem-solving skills.
Have clear understanding of current regulations.
The ability to work as part of a team.
The ability to meet deadlines.
