Financial Controller
The Irish entity of a global
Plc are looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will play a lead role in the continuing
development of the finance function with a leading global brand.
Role Responsibilities will include
but not limited to:
* Ensuring the production of
timely and accurate financial accounts, reports and analysis, including
submission of group reporting within strict deadlines
* Preparation and review of
financial reports for various stakeholders in the business
* Support month -end and year -end
close process
* Assisting with the coalition of
information from the business and building a robust forecast model
* Acting as a main point of
contact for queries raised by the Group Head Office
* Assisting in the preparation
and submission of tax and statutory compliance
* Dealing with auditors and ensuring
a smooth process
Requirements
o Relevant third level degree and
must have a professional accounting qualification ( ACA, ACCA or equivalent )
o 3+ years PQE with relevant financial
control experience within industry
o Deadline driven and have a
desire for continuously improving the finance function
o Experience dealing with statutory
accounts from start to finish
o Experience with general ledger
functions and the month -end/year end close process is expected
o Good communication skills and
excellent attention to detail
