We're recruiting a
Production Manager
on behalf of a leading, multi-site food production company.
This is a high-impact role with responsibility for the performance and development of a key production area — overseeing people, process, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
What You'll Do:
Manage daily production activities to meet safety, quality, environmental, and output targets.
Lead and develop a team of Production and Hygienist Operators.
Work closely with Quality, Engineering, H&S, R&D, Finance, and Commercial teams (Ireland & UK sites).
Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements using root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and audit standards.
Support capital projects and process upgrades to maximise efficiency and ROI.
Promote a strong safety culture and energy efficiency focus.
Be a key part of the site leadership team and contribute to strategic decisions.
What You'll Need:
A degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a production or process management role within food or FMCG.
Strong technical knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
Proven leadership and team development skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving ability.
Calm and adaptable in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
