A well-established multinational with their finance office in Dublin City is expanding their team due to growth and is looking for a VAT Specialist to join. This company has a small-team feel with a global reach and is a leader in its field. Based in modern offices in the centre of Dublin, they offer excellent flexibility on hours and hybrid working.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, you will join a tax team of three. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the tax team on VAT matters and ensuring full compliance with all VAT filings, including:
* VAT compliance for global locations, focusing on the EU and Spain
* Preparation of VAT returns and reconciliations
* Intrastat reporting and other indirect tax filings as required per jurisdiction
* Maintaining VAT controls and preparing VAT reconciliations
* Submitting claims timely to minimize cash flow impact
* Providing ad-hoc support on other tax areas as needed
* Assisting with e-invoicing procedures
* Managing VAT audits and handling queries and information requests
What you'll need to succeed
* Ideally fully qualified in CTA, ACCA, ACA; part-qualified candidates will also be considered
* Experience with global and EU VAT compliance, preferably in industry or practice
* Experience with Spanish Intrastat is highly desirable
* Possession of a European passport is advantageous due to infrequent travel, but not essential
