For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in city Cork, Ireland, we are looking for a
Gastro department Supervisor / Deli Supervisor.
Candidate information/requirements:
* The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience as a Gastro department/Fresh food Supervisor
* Previous experience working in a canteen, fast food, or a restaurant
* HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge would be a plus
* Excellent customer service, good leadership, and organizational skills
* Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
* A good level of English is required
About the job:
● Permanent, full-time position
● If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you will be paying

(+ utilities) per week for a private room in the nearby area
● Salary after tax in Ireland for this Gastro Department Supervisor role will be

● Your duties will be to:
* Supervise and support the deli team to ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service
* Prepare and cook fresh meals daily, using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients where possible
* Manage stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal policies
* Assist in menu planning and introduce new meal ideas to keep offerings fresh and exciting
* Provide training and motivation to deli staff
