We are seeking to recruit Resident Engineer (Electrical) with 7+ years of relevant experience in Site Supervision activities for a position within various counties throughout Ireland (Nationwide). Candidates will be seconded into a client office/site to work on capital projects in water and wastewater sectors. Candidates with suitable experience interested in similar positions elsewhere in Ireland can also apply and will be considered for future roles.
* Experience in administrating Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
* Chartered Engineer.
* Managing Safely in Construction Training.
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible.
* Willing to take responsibility and work well in a team.
Responsibilities:
* Specialising in Electrical elements of the works.
* Driving project delivery on-site for Uisce Éireann, focusing on safety, timeliness, cost, and quality standards.
* Ensuring works comply with contract documents and specifications.
* Monitoring and reporting on site activities to meet employer’s requirements.
* Keeping all stakeholders informed of issues.
* Implementing safety policies and standards.
* Reviewing HSQE documentation such as RAMS, TMP.
* Monitoring safety compliance and conducting weekly safety reviews.
* Reporting incidents and assisting with investigations and corrective actions.
* Participating in HSQE inspections and resolving issues.
