This role drives continuous improvement initiatives and ensures alignment with internal teams.Suppliers, Representatives and Distributors Are Our PartnersKey ResponsibilitiesAssist in onboarding and training internal staff on procurement procedures and best practicesEnsure supplier relationships adhere to company policies and quality standardsWork closely with production teams to align material procurement with operational needsRepresent Supplier operations within audits (customer or regulatory) globallyMaintain detailed documentation on purchasing workflows, approvals, and compliance requirementsAssist in streamlining ordering processes to reduce costs and prevent delaysSupport training on ERP systems or procurement tools used within the companyConduct process audits to ensure alignment with procurement strategies and industry regulationsProvide feedback on purchasing procedures to enhance overall efficiencyRequirements/QualificationsMinimum bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Business/STEM or equivalentAPICS certification including CPIM, CFPIM, or the CSCP is preferred3+ years of experience with a developed understanding of the supply chainUnderstanding of ERP/MRP (Microsoft AX2012, InforLN) and supporting systems (Agile, DMS) for Supply Chain & Planning functionsEssential – SQL / Tableau / Power BI understandingGood communication skills for supplier interactions and internal coordinationDemonstrated analytical, verbal, and attention to detailTravel Time25% - 50%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
