Your new role
Your new role is to be based in Drogheada on a large residential development where multiple phases are still to happen over the next 3 years.As a Senior Engineer, you'll play a leading role, taking ownership of all engineering functions and acting as the key point of contact for technical leadership, quality assurance, and site coordination. Working closely with your project manager and wider project team, you'll ensure that the highest standards are maintained across all aspects of engineering, with a strong focus on planning, quality control, and temporary works management.
Selection of site duties
* Lead engineering strategy and on-site technical control
* Provide oversight for setting out, QA, record keeping, and engineering deliverables
* Mentor and guide site engineers and graduates
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality procedures, and safety protocols
* Develop and review Inspection & Test Plans, method statements and risk assessments.
* Identify and resolve technical queries and RFIs
* Drive timely close out of non-conformances and maintain robust documentation.
This role can be paid on an hourly rate or salary basis. See details below
What you'll need to succeed
For the role, it is expected that you possess;
* Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or equivalent).
* Some forms of Temporary Works Coordinator training and scaffold awareness etc.
* You will have experience in construction site engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role

This role can be paid by the hour or on a direct salary.
