Main Responsibilities
Support the design of mechanical components and produce design outputs (e.g., technical drawings and specifications) of electromechanical devices, jigs and test fixtures.
Conduct project tasks including root‑cause analysis, hypothesis testing and Design of Experiments.
Utilize Design for Six Sigma tools to enhance product design, ensure statistical significance of test data and drive concept selection in a structured manner.
Work with Engineers, Technicians and Operators during brainstorming and hands‑on testing.
Plan, coordinate, design and analyse data for feasibility, characterization, prototype and V&V testing.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Management, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Software, System Engineering, Test Engineering, Procurement and Quality to meet technical, customer and regulatory requirements.
Support risk management activities (e.g., FMEA), compliance assessments, creation of system/sub‑system requirements, design specifications and test methods, ensuring manufacturability and serviceability.
