Job Opportunity
We are seeking a part-qualified accountant to join our team in a hybrid work-from-home environment, with a primary base in our Dublin office.
This role is within the Outsourcing Team, which operates within the Consulting Department, working with a growing range of domestic, FDI, and public sector clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy accounting environment, with excellent technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of compliance clients, preparing and reviewing sole trader accounts and statutory financial statements, as well as assisting with tax and general consulting issues for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review sole trader accounts and statutory financial statements.
* Prepare monthly management accounts.
* Assist with tax and general consulting issues for clients.
* Manage client portfolios and provide ad-hoc assistance as required.
* Assist with commercial management of the unit.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified accountant with 1 year's experience in a busy accounting environment.
* Prior practice experience is preferable, but not essential.
* Excellent technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Flexibility and strong team player skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative, taking work to completion for partner/manager review.
* A full, clean Irish or international driver's license is desirable.
