Join us on a journey of growth and opportunity, as we expand our operations in the West of IrelandWe are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Relief Chef to assist in the running of units in the West of Ireland (Limerick/Clare/Galway), working five over seven days, daytime hours, 40 hours a week. You will provide culinary expertise and support to various units during staff shortages or peak periods. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of kitchens and maintain high standards of food preparation and service.Can you?Prepare and cook food to the highest standard.Supervise and direct kitchen and service staff as required.Work with, and order products within agreed budgets as set out by the company.Follow and implement menu cycles on a monthly basis.Operate the HACCP and Health and Safety procedures in line with legal requirements.What you'll need:Proven experience as a Chef in various culinary environments.Indepth knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in highpressure situations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.Previous experience in a Healthcare environment an advantage but not essential.Please Note:Garda Vetting is a requirement for this role.Must have own Transport.
