On-Site Retail Operations Manager Opportunity

Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of the supermarket to guarantee efficiency and profitability
* Lead and train a management team to deliver top-notch performance across all departments
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for health, safety, and food regulation compliance
* Collaborate with department managers to achieve sales, margin, and waste targets
* Oversee budgets, control costs, and monitor key performance indicators
* Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation
* Drive customer service excellence and address customer inquiries efficiently
* Foster a positive work environment that supports teamwork and staff development
* Communicate with senior management on business performance and future planning initiatives
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years' management experience in a retail or supermarket environment
* Proven ability to manage store operations and meet KPIs
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams
* Commercial acumen with strong analytical and financial management skills
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
* Strong knowledge of stock management, merchandising, and customer service best practices
* Ability to work a full-time roster including weekends and evenings as required
