We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Packaging Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. This role is ideal for an individual with experience in biomedical materials, processing knowledge and medical packaging design procedures.
About the Role
This position involves the development of packaging components and assemblies for medical devices. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional project teams, focusing on design, technology and process. Key responsibilities include:
* Development of technical documentation, including design specifications, input requirements, validations and technical reports, in accordance with quality system requirements.
* Supporting issue investigations and corrective actions.
* Utilizing knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements related to packaging and labeling, ensuring robust package validation and qualification.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree level L8 qualification in Engineering/Science or a related discipline, with five years' relevant experience. A proven track record in innovative package design, product development and manufacturing is also desirable.
