Key Responsibilities
Act as the Network Owner responsible for all servers, control system software, and communication networks.
Design and program software for the control systems.
Perform software modifications, fault finding, PID loop setup and tuning, and technical support to engineers on control systems.
Commissioning activities: signal checking and ensuring functionality for new projects and modifications.
Maintain operator stations and plant visualisation software (e.g. WinCC).
Coordinate uploading and implementation of new software or upgrades.
Work with expert engineers from control system suppliers.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience:
Degree or equivalent qualification in a technical engineering-related discipline; minimum 5 years' hands-on industry experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Strong experience with Step 7, Simatic Manager, and WinCC; familiarity with Windows operating systems (security, network configuration); proficiency in PLC programming languages such as FBD (Function Block Diagram) and STL (Statement List).
Exposure to SQL.
System archiving/restoration and OT cyber security tools and best practices.
Strong relationship-building abilities.

Full training will be provided to expand and deepen the successful candidate's existing knowledge.
