About usThe 5* Intercontinental Hotel, Ballsbridge is currently looking for an experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to join its team.The InterContinental Dublin is located in the leafy suburbs of Ballsbridge, within close proximity to the RDS, Aviva Stadium and is on a frequently serviced bus & DART line.At InterContinental, we place a great deal of importance on assembling the best team possible. InterContinental can offer what many hospitality professionals dream of an opportunity to build a lifelong career that has both global potential and a real sense of pride in work well done.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the Conference & Banqueting operations on a day-to-day basis ensuring quality service and standards are maintained along with delivering a five-star guest experience that is unique.Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs.Identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue. Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value.Manage day to day team requirements including hiring, training and motivating your teamCommunication and collaborate with interrelated departmentsEstablish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals.
