* We are seeking an experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Cong, Co. Mayo. This is a key leadership role for an enthusiastic hospitality professional who thrives in high-end event operations.
* As Conference & Banqueting Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless delivery of all events within the hotel, ensuring excellence in service, attention to detail, and strong coordination across departments.
* Key Responsibilities include:
o Lead and manage the daily operations of all conferences, banquets, weddings, and events.
o Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of all functions to the highest standard.
o Work closely with the sales and events team to ensure smooth communication and execution of client requirements.
o Manage, train, and motivate the C&B team, ensuring excellent customer service at all touchpoints.
o Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and budgets to ensure efficient cost control.
o Liaise with culinary, bar, and accommodation teams for cohesive service delivery.
o Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
o Conduct pre- and post-event briefings and evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a C&B Manager or similar senior events role within a 4* or 5* hotel environment.
* Proven ability to deliver high-end events, from intimate weddings to large corporate functions.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
* Proficient in event planning software and operational systems.
* Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI).
