Fixed Term ContractDepartment: Administration / ClericalReports to: Management teamRenumeration: Local Government Scale Grade 3Job Purpose:To provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's daily activities. Working within a not-for-profit environment, the Clerical Officer contributes to the effective delivery of services that support the organization's mission and values.Key Responsibilities:Provide general administrative support including filing, photocopying, scanning, and document preparationManage incoming and outgoing correspondence.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both electronic and paper-basedAssist with data entry for grant applications, donor databases, or programme monitoringSchedule meetings, take minutes, and coordinate calendars for team membersSupport the preparation of reports, funding documentation, and internal communicationsLiaise with staff, volunteers, funders, and community partners as neededMaintain office supplies and handle procurement requestsEnsure confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and organizational policiesCoordinate and assist across all departments within the organization to ensure smooth delivery of service.Essential Requirements:A minimum of five years' experience in a clerical or administrative role, ideally in a not-for-profit or community-based setting.Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of IT packages appropriate to a modern office administration environment.Willingness to participate in training and up-skilling as prescribed from time to time to meet current and emerging requirements of our funders.Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to work on own initiative and collaboratively with colleagues and other staff.Good written and verbal communication skills with a key focus on attention to detailAdaptability: Support change and innovation initiatives within the organisation.Professional Conduct: Represent the organisation in a positive mannerFull clean driving licence and use of a vehicleDesirable:Experience of working in a good customer service environmentKnowledge of charity governance, funding and community engagementExperience in coordinating public events and volunteer workshopsJob Type: Fixed termContract length: 28 monthsPay: €29,000.00-€36,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
