A leading Irish consultancy is seeking an Environmental Engineerto join their growing Circular Economy and Environmental team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary firm delivering projects across waste management, energy recovery, environmental infrastructure, and sustainable resource solutions.
The role is ideally suited to candidates with a background in civil or environmental engineering and at least 4/5 years of relevant experience. Based in Cork, this position offers long-term career progression opportunities, including the potential to move into a Principal Engineer role.
Role Responsibilities:
* Manage the planning and execution of design work and CAD documentation alongside Project Engineers and Technicians.
* Attend and participate in site and client meetings.
* Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Assurance and Health & Safety Management Systems.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate deliverables with other internal departments and external consultants.
Role Requirements:
* Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
* Minimum of 4/5 years’ post-graduate professional experience.
* Demonstrated project management capabilities.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Full, clean driving licence.
