Facilities Manager
To support growth and expansion we are currently recruiting a full-time multi-site Facilities Manager to join our team in Cork.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday from 9:00‑17:00.
Two years fix‑term contract
Main duties and responsibilities
* Provide strong leadership and build a positive team culture
* Manage people day‑to‑day with regular feedback and resource planning
* Budgeting, invoicing, H&S responsibility for all sites under their management
* Implement strategic goals, KPIs and objectives
* Attend tier meetings, own facilities actions and close them on time
* Resolve issues promptly to support operations
* Oversee site procedures, non‑conformances and corrective actions
* Review work orders and carry out preventative maintenance
* Coordinate contractors and ensure compliance with site requirements
* Manage shift patterns, holiday cover and overtime
* Conduct performance reviews and support continuous improvement
* Keep clients informed and uphold excellent customer service
* Ad hoc duties as requested by the line manager
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance or facilities within a regulated environment
* Strong financial, systems and process understanding
* Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
* Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project
* Suitable experience in health and safety, and environmental issuesStrong communication and customer service focus
* Self‑motivated with a drive for continuous improvement
