Job Title: Senior Cost Manager
The role involves providing commercial and contractual support to the senior management team. This includes assisting in the preparation of project budgets, cost forecasts, and final accounts.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Undertake site remeasures with engineers to support monthly valuations.
* Prepare interim valuations in line with project requirements.
* Manage the procurement process, negotiate with subcontractors, and agree final accounts.
* Compile cost reports, monitor cash flow, and assist with overall financial planning.
* Support the estimating team with pricing and tender submissions for upcoming projects.
* Carry out additional tasks as directed by senior management to ensure smooth project delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
* At least 25 years post-graduate experience, ideally within civils or infrastructure.
* Strong skills in cost reporting, measurement, and valuation.
* Capable of managing subcontractor packages and financial documentation.
* A full, clean Irish driving licence.
