Electrical Project Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex electrical infrastructure projects within a regulated manufacturing environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will act as Point Person from the Project Team regarding Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation, Life Safety & Security systems. They will be responsible for reviewing design deliverables from engineering firms and providing technical support for in-house projects.
* Project Electrical Engineer to oversee all aspects of electrical engineering design, including drawings, datasheets, specifications, and engineering lists.
* Discipline Electrical Engineer/Technical Support/Special Systems (GMP/Non GMP buildings), ensuring that all design work is completed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Engineering design support for all in-house projects, including design calculations, kw loading, circuit allocation, drawing redlines, developing instrument data sheets, Instrument Index, I/O lists, Test docs, certification process.
2. Assuring all design & project work for Electrical Systems is completed in compliance with all Regulatory requirements including, Quality (cGLP/GMPs), EHS, Global Engineering, design & construction directives, requirements & procedures, as well as all Local Regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry including experiencewith design, construction commissioning and operation for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
* Extensive knowledge of Industrial facility power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, Earthing & bonding, lightning protection, security, hazardous areas and fire alarm.
* Experience with Instrumentation, controls & Functional Safety.
* Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
Requirements
* Knowledge of FAT SAT E&I Instrumentation GMP Drawings Hazop.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
