We are seeking an accomplished semi-senior accountant to contribute their technical accounting, tax, and audit expertise to our dynamic team in Cork.
About the Role
* Prepare comprehensive financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Assist in audits from planning to finalization, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards.
* Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing work to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Develop strong client relationships by addressing queries, providing actionable advice, and maintaining open communication channels.
* Promote process improvements and maintain operational efficiency in service delivery.
* Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with advanced technical knowledge in accounting, tax, and audit.
* Proven experience mentoring or supervising junior staff to achieve professional growth and development.
* Proficient in leading accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel to drive productivity and accuracy.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Able to provide clear, actionable advice to clients and stakeholders.
