Job Title:Midwife
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Midwife to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Antenatal & Postnatal Care: Conduct routine check-ups, provide health education, and support to women and their families.
* Labour & Birth Support: Assist during labour and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
* Emotional & Physical Support: Offer continuous care and support throughout the birthing process.
* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Requirements:
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with An Bord Altranais /Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Must have eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA passport or appropriate work visa).
* Triage training and certification (preferred but not mandatory).
* Mandatory training including but not exclusive to Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification(desirable), Safety Intervention training(formerly MAPA can be supplied by Direct Medics)
* Garda Vetting (cost covered by Direct Medics)
* Minimum 6 months post-registration experience
* Experience in high-acuity environments and familiarity with Irish or UK healthcare systems (HSE/NHS or private).
