My client, a well-established rural auctioneering practice, is seeking a proactive and organised Auctioneering Administrator to join their small but busy office team.
Your contribution will be key to smooth day-to-day operations and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities CRM & Scheduling: Manage property appointments in a web-based system; keep the Director updated.
Diary, Emails & Calls: Coordinate the Directors diary, field phone calls, and manage email correspondence.
Property Listings: Maintain and refresh ads on and ensuring accuracy and engagement.
Marketing & Advertising: Coordinate press ads, signage, and in-office window displays.
Property Prep: Photograph and measure properties; arrange BER assessments as needed.
Client Communication: Handle calls and emails promptly; brief the Director on all developments.
Leasing & Valuations: Assist with lease renewals, tenant liaison, and valuation report preparation.
Financial Admin: File invoices, reconcile accounts with the company secretary, and manage VAT/compliance paperwork.
General Admin: Keep client files up to date; support the Director with ad hoc tasks; ensure the office runs efficiently.
Candidate Profile Rural Auctioneering Experience: Prior work experience with a rural-based auctioneering firm.
Farming Knowledge: Some understanding of day-to-day farming activities.
Independent Worker: Able to carry out responsibilities without regular supervision.
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; confident engaging with clients and colleagues.
Computer & Mapping Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office suite.
Comfortable using CRM systems and Google applications.
Experience identifying properties on Google Maps/Earth from Eircodes or Folio numbers.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar with PSRA requirements (Property Service Agreement, ID checks).
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Company Procedures Manual available for detailed guidance.
