Job Description:
The role of a Senior Child Care Professional is to ensure the safety, well-being and maximized potential of all children and young people.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the highest level of care for children and young people.
* Managing staff to deliver high-quality services.
* Implementing policies and procedures to meet national regulations.
* Coordinating daily activities to promote the health, safety and well-being of children and young people.
Requirements:
Minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care, with enrollment or completion of a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting, plus 4 years of full-time work experience in a children's residential care setting post-qualification.
