About the Job Reporting to senior team members, this role is ideal for a motivated Accounting Technician or aspiring accountant seeking practical experience in a fast-paced practice environment.
You will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties: Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns Processing weekly and monthly payrolls across various clients Performing reconciliations and day-to-day accounting support tasks Assisting with tax returns and compliance matters Supporting clients with cloud-based software (e.g., Xero, Sage) Responding to client queries and building professional relationships Your Skills and Background Accounting Technician or Part-Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CAI), or Graduate Trainee with a 2:1 degree Strong attention to detail and time management Effective communicator with a client-focused approach Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud accounting systems Previous practice experience is beneficial but not essential Full UK driving licence preferred Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits Study support and training contract Flexible hybrid working (role dependent) Paid company CPD Career progression opportunities On-site parking Supportive working culture Exposure to a wide client portfolio Skills: Accounts Vat Returns Payroll Bank Reconciliation Benefits: Work From Home
