Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager
A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our site engineering department in Carlow. Reporting directly to the Site Facilities Lead, you will oversee the planning, implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facility-related equipment at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with other departments and partners to ensure seamless delivery of facility services in the safest, most efficient and cost-effective manner.
* Maintain permanent inspection readiness state for the site by ensuring ongoing project activity is supported through safety inspections and walks.
* Support continuous improvement through active participation in projects, system failure studies and incident investigations using recognized methodologies such as 8 SPS and RCA.
* Develop and execute change control related to the engineering function.
* Participate in and contribute to Lean measures like Gemba and Kaizen events.
* Ensure compliance via documentation completion, risk assessments, corrective actions, audits and inspections.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering, science or technical discipline.
* Lean Six Sigma methodology experience with Green Belt preferred.
* Proven track record in identifying and delivering improvement projects in facilities and utilities support areas within GMP manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of regulatory codes, standards and practices.
* Excellent report, standards and policy writing skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and job-related computer applications.
* Strong safety ethos.
